The Kent Innovation Challenge

Bright business ideas to win £20,000

The Kent Innovation Challenge 2008 offers entrepreneurs and innovative businesses the opportunity to take home £20,000.

The Competition for 2008 is now closed to further entries

The search is on for the region’s brightest entrepreneurs and most innovative businesses.  If you have a great idea or if your business is developing an innovative product or service then the Kent Innovation Challenge’s £20,000 cash prize could be yours for the taking.

And the Kent Innovation Challenge couldn’t be easier to enter – a two minute presentation to a panel of Dragons could see you well on your way to the top prize.

John Dodd, the Sittingbourne Enterprise Hub director and coordinator of the competition’s judging panel chairman said: “Since its conception five years ago more than 150 entrepreneurs and businesses have entered the Kent Innovation Challenge.  Now it’s your turn to step up and accept the challenge.”

The Kent Innovation Challenge closes to entries on Monday 18 Feb.  Kent Innovation Challenge entrants will face our very own panel of Dragons on Monday 3 March.  The £20,000 prize will be presented to the lucky winner on Thursday 3 April at the Kent 2020 conference and exhibition at the Kent County Showground at a gala dinner.

In addition to the £20,000 cash prize, the winners will also receive:

  • Free rent for one year at either the Sittingbourne Enterprise Hub at the Kent Science Park, the Canterbury Enterprise Hub at the University of Kent, or the Medway Enterprise Hub at the University of Greenwich
